She Said It officially began in the summer of 2019. This business is the intersection of our love for meaningful words, snail mail, and beautiful art. We hope that by sharing the words and stories of these incredible women, women of today are inspired to dream, love, and be themselves!
Kathryn Christenson
Hello! My name is Kathryn. I am in charge of most of the business side of She Said It, along with occasionally doing some designs! I am a former marketing director, turned interior designer and a mom of two daughters and a dog!
In 2019, Anna's freshman year roommate gave her a watercolor lettering book. Over winter break, she gave me a painting featuring the quote "Know your own happiness", as Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors. I absolutely loved it and thought that her design would make a beautiful greeting card. From there, She Said It was born! We now have a line of cards, art prints, and stickers which feature some incredible words that inspire me daily.
Anna Christenson
Hi, I'm Anna! I do most of the artwork for She Said It along with managing our website and social media (my mom has done a few designs as well). I am now a second year graduate student in molecular biology at UC-Berkeley.
I have always loved nature, so my designs are inspired by the beauty that I see in flowers and plants. Nature has always been my "safe space", and my room is filled with indoor plants of all kinds! Often, the quotes I choose for our products are words that spoke to me at the time, whether they motivated me to keep studying hard in school or to continue to be myself regardless of what others think. The words and the women who said them are an inspiration to me, encouraging me to dream big and persevere. I hope that you are able to find some inspiration in their words as well!

Hello. My name is Elizabeth! I help out at farmers markets for She Said It, along with making design and marketing suggestions. I am currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
